Thiago Silva is considered to be one of the best defenders in the world and his recent awards are proof of it as he has been featured in the UEFA Team of the Year since 2011 as well as being named into the FIFA World XI of 2013, there is no doubt why PSG was willing to offload €42 million in order to get him from Ac.Milan.

Ac.Milan ‘s recent crisis is seeing the Italian team being knocked out of Champions League and are struggling just to keep themselves in the middle section of the Italian league Serie A and their demise started occurring ever since they offloaded Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG, Ac.Milan still has been unable on finding players who can fill in the spot of the Swiss forward and the Brazilian defender.

The 29 years old defender is being taking into consideration by Barcelona as they have to find someone who can replace Puyol and Thiago Silva is at the top of the list of Gerardo Martino but unfortunately for the Catalan club, the former Ac.Milan player has already stated that he has no desire of leaving PSG and that he wants to remain with the club until his contract expires in 2018.
