SILVA HAPPY WITH MBAPPE TALKS

Paris St-Germain defender Thiago Silva says he is happy with the club’s links with Thiago Mbappe.

The teenage breakout star is set to exit rivals Monaco for PSG in a record move this summer before the window closes.

He did burst into the scene last term but he made a strong impression that most of the biggest clubs on the continent want to sign him. The 18-year old has been linked to Real Madrid, Manchester City but it seems PSG will tap the player finally.

Mbappe was named a substitute in the game against Dijon recently as Monaco wanted him to sort out his future. Silva opines that the young player would be a key addition to their setup if the move happened.

The Brazil international told Canal+: “He always wants to score, he has a great quality of dribble, and I think PSG is a team that loves that kind of player. He could become a very important and very significant player for the squad. I see on TV that he has his head on his shoulders.”
Neymar has been a significant boost since joining the French giants. He scored and had an assist in his debut.

Silva revealed that he made a contribution to convincing Neymar to exit Barcelona. He claimed he called the player “every day” while in Brazil, persuading him to make the move.

Dani Alves, another Brazil international, is believed to have persuaded the star playeras well. The former Barcelona player did not part ways with the club on good grounds. He agreed with Neymar before exiting Juventus for PSG.

The players would be seeking to reclaim the Ligue 1 title and go farther in the Champions League this time after Barcelona knocked them out last season.
