Will Thiago Silva ever make a return to Ac.Milan?

AC.Milan was the first truly big European club that Thiago Silva joined in a transfer that was completed back on 2009 for a transfer fee which is believed to be in the region of €10 million and after spending 3 seasons with the Italian club, Ac.Milan offloaded him to PSG for around €42 million.

Thiago Silva has played a huge role in the recent uprising of PSG as the Brazilian defender has won various pieces of silverware and has even gone on to become the captain, which shows the impact that Silva has had since arriving to Parc des Princes.

Even though it’s clear that he has had much more success with PSG than with Ac.Milan, Silva still holds a place in his heart for the Italian club as the 32 year old defender has recently talked about his experience and the importance that Ac.Milan has had in his career.

When the veteran defender was asked in a recent interview about the possibility of making a return to Ac.Milan, Thiago Silva replied by saying:

“I left the door open, I still have friends there. The other day I spoke to GennaroGattuso for his birthday. I always try to stay close because it’s a club which was very important for me. Leonardo was important, and Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani opened the door for my career. I have to thank them.”

According to the highly-rated defender, he still has doors opened in Ac.Milan and has friends who are still performing or working in the Italian club and the 32 year old player would definitely be opened to the possibility of returning to Ac.Milan but this seems highly unlikely that it will happen anytime soon as Thiago Silva has recently signed a contract extension with PSG that is going to be keeping him in the club at least until 2020.
